Just received my "98" Korean LP Transblue today.

I love the finish on this guitar, it has a little green in it. Plays very nice and sounds ok.

I'm wondering if its worth it to replace the Unsung pickups or just leave them alone.

The reason I got this for $235.00 is somebody tried different tuners and made many holes on the back of the headstock.

I'm thinking of just leaving that alone as it would mess with the serial number and LE stickers.

Not sure if its a Standard or a Classic? I think its a Standard.

Like to see if anybody out there has a finish like this. Is it considered a quilt?

The trans-blue standards I've ever seen are all a little different from one another, some a deep, dark blue in the center and some much lighter ... it's one of the attractions of that color guitar for me. I have to say that I've never seen one quite like your's ... very nice!

I'd live with those pickups for a while and see if they grow on you. I'm also glad that the headstock "butchery" doesn't seem to show from the front. Looks like you got yourself a good deal!

Congrats and HNGD!

Jim
