Casino Bridge Measurements

I'm looking to put a Bigsby B70 on my Casino, and so I'll also need a roller bridge to replace my standard Epiphone tuneomatic bridge.

I'm aware from reading the forum that Epiphone bridges and Gibson bridges are not interchangeable, and I'm wondering whether anybody here knows what measurements a replacement bridge will need in order to fit.

That's one I've found. Does anybody know whether that will fit? And anybody who has done the same to a Casino, which bridge did you get?

Thanks in advance.

Most imports including Epiphone use the larger M8 studs. You can tell just by looking, the M8 bridges have a screwdriver slot like the top bridge in this picture:

I think the Schaller is designed to replace the smaller posts (bottom). My old MIK Casino had the smaller posts, if yours have the smaller M4 posts the Schaller might fit. If it does use the smaller posts, the next thing to look for is whether the post screws directly into the wood (like vintage Casinos) or if there's a small anchor that the posts screw into. Here's a photo of the Schaller with the studs and anchors:

I'm pretty sure my old MIK Casino had the little anchors like this, if your does then the Schaller should fit.

Here's an interesting thing sbout that Schaller bridge, which btw is super quality.

The distance between centers is exactly right for my EE05 les paul, and a few other EE guitars we have - but the posts are the wrong thread - M4 vs M8.

But if you file off the barbs (or ribs or whatever you call them) around the outside of the Schaller bushings, They will drop right into the hole in the stock Epi bushing - as pictured below it work very well on my LP - it's hard to see but I have the Schaller stock bushing dropped right inside the stock Epi bushing - and there's no issue with the added 1.5mm you're adding to the bushing height, there's plenty of room.

The best thing about that bridge is the ability to adjust each string laterally - it comes in handy.
