Epi Zak Wylde Pee Wee L.P.

Hello all,

I am teaching my 5 year old son how to play guitar on both my Epi. L.P. and my Gibby SG in the sitting position and although he is doing great, he does struggle with reaching notes. So I went to my local music store looking for a more suitable guitar for him, but they didn't have anything in stock. But, they told me they are getting the Epi.Zakk Wylde Pee Wee L.P. Jam Packs with the micro Marshall amps in for the Christmas sale for $179.00 and my question is, has anyone gotten one of these for their kids and how are they holding up over the long run?

They just came out (no really like two weeks ago).

I played the flying v one in GC, it was pretty good. I might pick it up for a travel guitar.

 

I havent played the LP one but it should be the same.

A friend of mine who's a Dobro player and I were walking through the local GC the other day and spied those mini Zacs. I said "man, that'd make a great lap steel" and we walked over and looked at them up close and walked away. A day or two later he called me and said he went back and bought one a put a raised nut on it and it sounded great. I'm thinking of doing that myself in the near future..............JH in Va.

Just so happens that my local music store has them now, so I went and got one today as a Christmas present for my youngest son. I'll snap some pics when I can.
