Rick Doeschler Posted November 29, 2010 Share Posted November 29, 2010 Have any of you tried a new SG/Les Paul Custom (Historic model) with 3 pu's lately? I remember they use to have the "Quack" sound when the toggle switch was, I believe, in the middle position. I played a new one recently that didn't have the "Quack." I heard that Gibson changed the wiring reflecting the no Quack sound. If true, when did that change go in to effect? Are there any SG/Les Paul 3 PU owners here to respond?
