Back in the day, I remember the Gibson's being strung with "Sonomatic 340" strings, if memory serves, and they also had the 340L! I think they were 12's if I'm not mistaken. Can anybody remember some of the old Gibson names/numbers for their strings? I used Flat wounds back in the 70's and I forgot the string name/number.
