Mick S. Posted December 13, 2010 Share Posted December 13, 2010 Speaking as somebody who owns an old Gibson 12-string flat-top acoustic from 1966 or 1969: don;t buy it if you can't play it first. Don't assume it sounds great, it probably doesn't. Mine (maybe a B-25) is on the small side: 42" long with a 19" body length, 4.5" deep, 14.25" at the body's widest point, 11" at the body top. It's not the best-sounding guitar (plenty of high end and but not much low), and with the wide (2.25") neck it's no joy to play either. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
