Model differences

Hi,

 

since there not to many used es 335 on the market I'm looking into new ones.

 

Since not one musicstore has all the models in question I wonder if someone can tell me if theres difference in the following models that I'm missing.

 

standart ES 335 plain top

 

Es 335 Block neck ( different finish, different pick ups, different tuners, different knobs, inlays)

 

Es 335 fat neck ( different finish, different tuners, different knobs, different neck profile)

 

in other words is the price difference between the standart model and the two other justified by cosmetics only?

Plain vs figured top

Dot or block etc

Neck profile

Price is important too

Some options involve special pickups

I ordered a plain dot vintage sunburst(the cheapest on offer)

But there was no current stock, so I paid a little extra and got a

Tri-burst flame top dot, which I am totally enamoured with
