Riffster Posted December 17, 2010 Share Posted December 17, 2010 Yep the necks can be beefy, my R8 measures 0.95" at the first fret and 1.03" at the twelfth. R8, R9 and R0's can be difficult to shop for, between choosing a top you like, the color of your preference and the neck shape it can be hard to get them all "right" on the same guitar IMO. I love my R8 but I do go back and forth on whether I should have the neck profile reshaped. The issue is that after I play it any other guitar neck feels too skinny and of course when I grab the R8 the neck feels thick again. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
