tunebar
I need a replacement g string tuner for a 10 year old country gent. We have looked everywhere. Called the factory directly but they sent us on our way with no help. Can someone tell us where we can purchase one? Thanks.
BobB
Tuners are sold in sets of 6. About the only way to buy a single tuner is to find someone selling a used tuner. You might check with people in your area who do repairs on instruments. They often have single tuners left over from changing tuners for people. You might also find a single tuner on auction sites like eBay. You might want to consider buying a full set of tuners. Sites like www.allpart.com or www.stewmac.com have tuner sets available. If one tuner wore out, the rest might not be far behind.

If it's a 2000 Chet Atkins Country Gentleman I think just about any gold Shaller would work for you.
TommyK
Splurge on a whole set. While you can get a close replica, you are unlikely to find an exact replica. A consistent set will look just fine. Keep the old ones though, even the broken one. You never know when an odd ball tuner will present itself. Then you can either replace the old ones ... or not.
