Your guitar was made in

Korea

January c.2000

Production Number: 01229

If the PR series of Epiphones were numbered similar to today's models, the number 10 would indicate an entry level Epiphone that may have sold, in the year 2000 for $100 or less. But, that is a guess.

Recently Epiphone DR10s and DR90s have been seen for sale on internet instrument stores. You will not, however, see them listed on Epiphone's product pages. These are probably made to dealer specs to get the cost, near or sub $100.00. So, I'm not surprised you haven't found much about your PR10.

Do you have any pictures?

Oh, and welcome! Things are a bit quiet here on the Epiphone board since they married the Epiphone and Gibson boards. Most of the acoustic action is over on the Gibson board, but some of us keep an eye on this board. Continue to post EPiphone related stuff here, but feel free to cross over into the other 'pool'.

I believe these are guitars that came in Epiphone Acoustic Guitar Packs.

Faded...

There was an EN-10 that came in a players pack. Pics would help greatly. The PR4 though 7 are acoustic electric cutaway guitars. 7 being the high end fancy schmancy guitar with an oval sound hole and lots of abalone binding.

If your guitar is not a cutaway, it most likely would fall in line with the other PR series starting with the PR100...meaning that yours would probably be an entry level guitar as stated above.

we really need pics.
