red7654
Hello All, I have been told by a guy that if you can find a Les Paul Standard made between 1992 and 1996 with a inked serial number and no pick gaurd you will be lucky. Does anyone out there know about these guitars? Not a classic but a Standard with inked serial numbers. I would love to hear any feedback on these guitars. Thanks in advance Robert
red7654
Anyone know why some serial numbers were inked and others stamped on gibson Les Paul Standards??
damian
Welcome to the forum...........Others will have better info for you...........Some Les Pauls are sold without the pick guards; many of these are fancy tops and customers don't want the pickguard holes or pickguards installed....I bought a flametop LP Standard (one of 99 made) in 2009 without the pickguard installed...It did come with the guitar though.......I like the no pickguard look......
