dreamspace
Hey, I just got a used LPC in Alpine White, it looks, plays and sounds good...but my question is, did these come without fret nibs? It's a regular model made at the Custom Shop... Thanks.
Tim Plains
They all have nibs but nibs on historic Les Pauls don't stick out as much as on USA Les Pauls. Post a picture of your fretboard. Maybe its had a re-fret. Hopefully, it's not a fake.
CR9
From the factory it should have nibs. It is possible that it may have been a custom order that had the fret ends over the binding and then no nibs, but that is an expensive special order. It has either had a refret or is a fake. The electronics could possibly point you to it being a fake or not. Some fakes even have Gibson electronics. Call customer service with the serial number to see if the data Gibson has matches the guitar. I hope it is not a fake.
