barry1 Posted June 26, 2011 Share Posted June 26, 2011 I have a aj-500 master built with a small crack in the finish about a 1 1/2 in.on upper bout.I think I could tape off the small area and touch it up with out refinishing whole top. zombywoof Posted June 27, 2011 Share Posted June 27, 2011 You need to know what kind of finish is on the guitar. I am guessing your Epi has a catalyzed poly finish which if it does is alot trickier to touch up than a lacquer finish. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
