Sonisphere 2011 (Big4) in France

Hi,

 

Last week-end I went to the Sonisphere festival,

First day:

 

- Rise to Remain;

- Bring me the horizon;

- Dream Theatre;

- Airbourne;

- Slipknot;

- Gojira;

- Symphonia.

 

Day 2:

 

- Mass Hysteria;

- Loudblast;

- Tarja;

- Papa Roach;

- Volbeat;

- Diamond Head;

- Anthrax;

- Slayer;

- Megadeth;

- Metallica

 

The first day, I really like the performance of Rise To Remain, Dream theatre and Airbourne (BTW: the singer is totally crazy, he climbed on the top of the light structure and played guitar there!) :)

 

Day 2:

Anthrax seems to have a very light sound even if Scott Ian was replaced by Andreas Kisser (sepultura) and they made a cover of Territory with Kisser singing.

Megadeth was the best technical band this day but Dave Mustaine should really do something for his voice, he really look like suffering!

Slayer: equal to themselve it was a Slayer show nothing more, nothing less.

Metallica: even if they have some approximation in their fastest song (Master), from the old generation they are still the best.

 

But to be honest, I have preferred bands like Papa Roach or Rise to Remain or Bring me the Horizon even if I am a big fan of the Big4 :(
