Gibson Classic 57 & Classic 57 plus in an Epiphone G-310?

Hey guys, it's been a little while since I posted here for the last time, so well. I just have a question.

I'm getting an Epiphone Emily The Strange SG (for ebay) and I know I will want to change the pups on it, so I was thinking about the Classic '57 and '57 plus combo, but... my question is... is there a big difference between the covered and uncovered humbucker? Or any recomendation?

I heard that usually the uncovered ones sounds a little different, but I ignore by how far.

I would really appreciate some opinions about this :D Thanks a lot and see ya soon!

PS: Why that guitar? Coz I always loved the artwork xD And... since will be just a backup guitar, I think it's fair :P

Hey Enzo! Did you put the Classic 57 pickups in your Emily the Strange? I want to do the same. What happen with the sound?
