Steven Tari Posted August 28, 2011 Share Posted August 28, 2011 I just got home from work. Last night when I went in it was high tide and Irene was sitting off Virginia Beach. I work the waterfront and the water was 4' on my jeep. I thought the water was going to kill it, but it went the 1/4 mile with water to the hood with out slowing down or dieing. I had four 60 pound bags of concret in the rear, that helped me from floating. Coming home, a lot of detours because of trees and roads still flooded.
