Alish
Hi, I have a guitar epiphone lp-300 would like to know, really it is a real or fake!NECK bolt-on steel plate engraved it "Hand-crafted in Korea by Epiphone. The Epiphone Company Nashville,Tennessee,USA". Online information about this model is not present, the official site either. May be someone came across this model... sorry for my English. LSAR
Pics are needed to tell you for sure wether it is or is not fake. From what I've understood, there is some confusion surounding the differences between the LP300 and LP100, and wether there actually are any...how do you know it is a 300? And btw, I've never heard of, or seen a fake LP100 or LP300, but some would say there is a first time for everything...so you never know . . . RobinTheHood
Sounds like an LP-300 to me. Heres some info. http://www.epiphonewiki.com/index.php?title=Les_Paul#Les_Paul_Numbered_Models
RobinTheHood
Also, the confusion surrounding the LP-300 comes from another Bolt-neck LP called the Les Paul Studio Stardard or LP-100 Studio Standard. People often confuse the two because there are very few models around these days. Spec differences are as follows: LP-100 - Mahogany body / Plain top / Mahognay neck / dot inlays / 1994-Present LP-SS - Mahogany body / Flame top / Mahogany neck / dot inlays / 1994-1997 LP-300 - Lam maple body / Painted top / Maple neck / trap inlays / 1989-1992

LSAR
GFS pickups from GuitarFetish.com would be a good choice for a lower cost...
Lefty Bill
GFS pickups from GuitarFetish.com would be a good choice for a lower cost... The Guitar Fetish models just may not be so affordable for someone living in Uzbekistan, though. Not everyone has as many choices as many of us that live in North America or elsewhere. I think it would be interesting for Alish and others to describe how common it is to see Epiphone guitars in their various regions of the world. Regards, Bill

Alish
Yes, we've got hard with this case ... very few music stores, there are only 4 or 5. Prices are very large, and there is no choice, but still not sure about the production of goods. for example strings d'addario are $ 20 for our level it is very expensive ... but in spite of the difficulties we are holding and playing rock-n-roll;-)
