ESPguy Posted September 6, 2011 Share Posted September 6, 2011 Hey, I recently traded to a guy on craigslist for a gibson V. I wasnt very impressed, but I figured "what the hell, its a Gibson. I got home, took off the old strings, steel wooled the frets and oiled the fretboard. Put new strings on, adjusted the pickup heights and plugged in to my JSX. I was floored. I think the pickups are a 500T and 496R. After researching the serial #, I found it is 1995. No questions, just love this V!
