G McBride
I have a 53 ES125 and the tuners are hard to operate and the buttons have deteriorated to a point I am afraid one of them is going to fall apart. I would like to put a set of replacements on it and stick the originals in the case while they are still in tact. Anyone know of a direct replacement and where to buy them. Thanks Gill
L5Larry
There are reproductions being made of most "modern" tuning machines. The places I would check first are Allparts, and Stewart-McDonald. http://www.allparts.com/Tuning-Keys-s/167.htm http://www.stewmac.com/shop/Tuners.html There are also many other on-line retailers, but the products are all basically the same.
