thejay
Any vegas owners out there? Considering one as I'd like a hollow body through into my mix but unable to find any to try
pjrball
I have played two Vegas guitars, a High Roller and a standard ( I own a High Roller)...I cannot recommend them highly enough. For me, compared to 335's, 339's and 336's, they are much more interesting and unique....punchy and thick, but not at all mushy. I've played it though an early 6o's Bandmaster, a THD Univalve and Flexi 50, an old Traynor BassMate...the guitar responded well to all. Easy to play as well, especially for a player used to a les paul/ strat/ SG size guitar. and...oh yeah...light weight!
Red 333
I have not played one, but I HELD one this weekend. I was suprised at how small and light it was, as l was under the impression they were ES 335 sized. I guess I was expecting a kind of funky Trini Lopez. jrball is right, they are something like an SG in size, and maybe weight. I belive the one I saw was a High Roller (it had the green flamed finish). Another surprise to me (not having really investigated them), was that the neck and back had a satin finish, not a gloss finish. Red
