charlie brown
Gosh, I think everyone does this song, even now! It's definitely on our play list, and has been, for decades! In fact, I can't think of a time we haven't done it, at every gig. CB

The Allmann Bros really are to blame. Even when it is agreed to "play it STRAIGHT!", about half the time someone goes into the walk up. And, it is a tough one to explain sometimes. Some know the chords to the walk-up, some play different chords.

stein
CB... Searcy... In A? m A is fine. CB handle the call-back leads, bass player takes a walk. I'll handle the chords, everyone else lay out on the walk up.

stein
Doggone... I'm s'posed to be writing for work and this has me wantin' to play some blues. #@$%#$ m This is your fault, you know. You got us going. My solution was to put that stuff you posted on the youtube and crank the volume on the PC. Then, I kicked it up a notch and put some BB on the stereo. I have a suspicion, maybe it is louder at your house than mine. I am learning you are the louder generation.
charlie brown
This is why I keep my little Marshall AVT-20, right next to my computer. All I have to do, turn on YouTube...or, put in a CD/DVD in the Drive, and "away we go!" (Jackie Gleason) ;>) I can "waste" hours... CB
milod
Stein... If we're the louder generation it's likely 'cuz we weren't smart enuf to wear ear plugs on stage in the olden days - not to mention other ear-damaging habits and hobbies. <grin> Yeah, I just cranked up my laptop next to regular computer so I could listen to me some BB and stuff... It's got the better speakers attached to it, too, including a little floor woofer. And it's cranked literally as well as figuratively. <grin> m
