RIX Posted November 28, 2011 Share Posted November 28, 2011 I brought mine new and it came with D'Addario light gauge strings, probably the EXP coated strings. When I replaced them I used D'Addario EJ11 Bronze. They sound really nice, but I will probably use D'Addario EJ16 next time, because that is the string I prefer. I would be a little cautious about a guitar that came with no strings though. Check it out closely, look inside to make sure there are no broken braces or some other defect. roadbiker Posted December 1, 2011 Share Posted December 1, 2011 I use D'Addario Light Guage Phosphor Bronze. I don't like the coated strings. I've uses the medium guage strings and they sound great too, but I mostly use the lights. Plus they put less tension and stress on the neck and top.
