Das Vagabund
can anyone tell me what gauge strings came on the joe bonamassa les paul? i don't have a feeler gauge to check at the moment. i usually play 9's on my strat and carvin but i can tell these on the jb are larger. i presume they are "Gibson" strings... the hex cores. i have always played the martin "blue steel" set since they came out but my sis bought me a set of 10-46 elixir nanowebs. so i reckon i will try them out. i know i will have to check settings on the guitar after installation but don't want to groove the nut if at all possible. again i presume they are gibson 10-46 but i figured i'd ask first. thnx! Steve-M
AFAIK 10-46 is the norm from the factory. I've never seen anything else.
