iwalktheline Posted April 29, 2012 Share Posted April 29, 2012 hey guys, I recently asked this question before but I have to ask again. I have a 1976 gibson dove and the saddle is very low. It was mentioned that in order to get a new saddle I would have to get a neck re-set. Well, I went to the tech that I have used a few times to drop off a different guitar for some work and brought up this topic to him. He told me that a saddle could just be put on without me having to do the neck re-set. My question again is...could this be done without doing the neck re-set?
