JonMitchell
Hello all, This is my first post here - I have been playing Epihpone and Gibson for the past 15+ years as a semi-professional. I am writing for advice on the value of my Epiphone Les Paul Custom.... Details: cream with gold hardware I believe it has a slim D-style neck it says 100% inspected and set-up in the USA by E 1 on the headstock double binding unbranded tuners made at the Saein Plant, Korea in January 1999 Production Number: 0989 Saein was presented the ‘The Best Quality Award of the Year’ by Gibson Epiphone USA in 1998 and 1999). What would you make of such a guitar? I am keen to sell it as I am happy with my Gibson 330, but if it was something special then I might hang onto it. Turns out Epiphone Les Pauls seem to hold their value better than I had thought! What do you guys think please?
bigneil
I don't think it is anything special in terms of monetary value. You should look it up on eBay and see how much similar epi LPs are selling for. But just in case I'm wrong you should post some pictures. Oh, and what country do you live in? Vinlander
I had an Ebony color LP Custom Saein Plant, Korea April 1999 Production Number: 1057 It was a very good player and the finition was flawless. If I recall I paid around 500$ for it used in 2009 but I ended up trading it for my Sheraton II last year.
