rednefceleb Posted June 17, 2012 Share Posted June 17, 2012 I've been shopping for my next Epiphone guitar. I've found the one. It's the "Les Paul Tribute Plus". This guitar has a '57 Classic and a '57 Classic Plus pickups. Also, push-pull pots that put the pickups into series parallel. It has a AAA Flame Maple top. Mallory 150-capacitors. DMZ Posted July 10, 2012 Share Posted July 10, 2012 I couldn't be happier with mine. Just a nice guitar that sounds and plays great. A good amp helps too. I recently played through my dear old Dad's '69 twin reverb and I about teared up it was that good. I added a few Gibson authentic USA parts: 5 ply pickguard(carved a tiny bit to fit), nickel bracket and jack plate, amber switch tip(not shown) and 60s style gold knobs to emulate/homage to Dad's old '67 ES330.
