bobouz
I just purchased an "Assembled in USA" (AIUSA) John Lee Hooker Sheraton, which will be arriving soon. Like the AIUSA Lennon Casino, these have bodies made by Terada in Japan, which were then shipped to Gibson for hardware & final assembly. What I can't recall for certain is whether the bodies were finished in nitro by Gibson, or done in poly by Terada. Does anyone have definitive info on this? Re humidity, it will make a difference in where the instrument is stored if the finish is done in nitro.
frenchie1281734003
The bodies and necks were made and finished in Nitro by Terada in Japan. As with the Lennon Casino`s they were shipped to the U.S. as finished carcasses, to which Gibson added all the hardware and set them up. Steve.
