Pin Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 Hi, I've been thinking about changing pickups on either or both my Epi ES345 and / or my Epi SG 400 and I wonder whether anyone has tried the PRS Dragon 2 pickups and, if so, with what results? jambone Posted September 13, 2012 Share Posted September 13, 2012 im a huge fan of the dragon bridge, not so much of the dragon 2 though. if youre in the market for awesome prs pickups, try the 57/08's. theyre a little laid back but sound stellar. also look into the mira treble and bass. i have a mira and theyre not real hot but handle gain great. the mira is a thin thin guitar so the sound isnt as full as youd expect but i suspect once you got them in a mohagany body theyd be really warm and full. plus youve got the option for coil tapping and who doesnt love that. best of luck.
