Broken99
Hi all, I have a lovely current model Gibson Custom Shop ES-330, though on the COA the model number is shown as HBO16M rather than ES-330 (serial number matches Ok). I wouldn't mind knowing what HBO16M is??
BigKahune
. Welcome. It doesn't fit the Les Paul model numbers I'm familiar with. Most of the time you can use the model number for the product code when registering the guitar. My 359 product code is HB013M and I never bothered to ask if there's a translation for it like the model numbers. The model number I have is ES359TVSGH1 which is like the Les Paul model numbers I'm familar with (T is figured top, VS is vintage sunburst finish, and GH is gold hardware), and the model name is ES 359 Curly. You could email the serial# to . service@gibson.com . and ask them for a translation of the product code as well as what the model# is. Not sure if they'll respond with the product code, or a more traditional model number, or both. .
