Metal Pickguard

Hi all,

 

Trying to find a real metal pickguard for a 50's Studio Tribute.

 

Bought one online, "chrome" means "silver plastic" and worse than that, the P90 pickups are a different shape too so it doesn't even fit. Moral - don't buy cheap off amazon.

 

So, anyway, anyone know where I can find something metal, chrome and suitable for P90 pickup shapes?

Take a cheep pickguard, use it as a starting point and trace a template on a piece of construction paper.

 

Once it fits your guitar...including P-90s perfect....check these guys out.

I've emailed them, so we will what we can do. They say they need the original plate as a template, so my new LP will be naked for a few weeks while the Pickguard goes on a round the world trip.
