Tigerwalk,

Welcome to the forum!

The four basic wiring schemes are Modern Dependent, Modern Independent, 50's Dependent and 50's Independent.

Every Epiphone I have ever seen comes stock with Modern Dependent.

Changing from Modern Dependent to 50's Dependent is normally a simple matter of moving the location of the capacitor.

It is normally only a matter of moving the volume side of the cap from the outside leg where the pickup connects to the center leg where

the switch connects.

Now, the stock wiring may look a bit different as Epi solders one end of the cap to the tone pot leg and the other to the back of it.

They then run a wire from the center leg of the tone pot to the volume pot with a wire. This works for modern.

Here are some diagrams to show the difference between Modern and 50's:

(unfortunately they do not contain push/pull pots)

The problem I have in directing you is that, if I'm not mistaken, you have a couple of push/pull pots and I am unsure how this changes the basic equation.

(possibly not at all)

I have looked for your specific stock diagram and have been unable to find it.

Now, from what I understand, it makes no difference which leg of the tone pot the capacitor goes to.

So, a couple of guesses.

If it were me, I would de-solder the cap from the back of the tone pot.

Desolder the wire that runs from the tone pots to the volume pot.

Get a couple of alligator clips and connect the cap to the center leg of the volume pot. (the leg where the switch connects)

If that didn't work, I would solder everything back together as it originally was and continue my search.

I know that this is not definitive help but, it is the best I can do.

Hopefully others can provide better answers.
