Junior Jr III Posted January 14, 2013 Share Posted January 14, 2013 Does anyone know if there are pots available with a thinner shaft? I'm talking about the threaded section. I was trying to fit a new pair of pots into the cavity and didn't even think that the diameter might be different. The OEM Epis are much thinner than the replacements I was trying to jam in there. My local shop didn't have anything nor does GFS. Will I have to rout the guitar to fit these? If so, what's the best way to do that without chipping the paint?
