2dogs
Trying to ID a Gibson bass s# 301214. It looks like a Ripper but doesn't have the nut cover saying "the Ripper". I bought this used in about 1980-81. It natural finish . Any info would be appreciated.

Pictures would be nice for two reasons. First to help with my curiosity , and second to support identification. B) Probably a win-win situation. :)
2dogs
Hello and welcome to this nice place in the web. The Grabber has a bolt-on neck while The Ripper's is set. Pictures would be nice for two reasons. First to help with my curiosity , and second to support identification. B) Probably a win-win situation. :) I don't have a digital camera ,so can't take pics. It has a set neck .The head is more squared off than the Grapper and painted black. Has 4 knobs ,same as Ripper. Just doesn't have the nut cover that says "The Ripper" I'll see if I can get some one to take some pics.
