LetMeAxeYouThis
Looking for a bit of help from the forum gurus. I have this Jimi Hendrix Hall of Fame Flying V with a serial number indicating it was built in 1993. The thing that's confusing me is the truss rod cover reads "Limited Edition 242 of 500". From what I've seen on the intertrons, other Hendrix V's truss rod covers are either blank, "Limited Edition", or "Limited Edition XXX of 400". Can anyone help me understand what's up with my "of 500" cover? Here's a link to a photo album of the guitar. http://imgur.com/a/pdpZR Thanks for checking it out guys. I remember playing those when they came out. Nice guitars. I understood it was x of 400 as well. I'd call Gibson about this one to confirm. It's a beautiful guitar and from what I remember they played really well and sounded fantastic. It all looks correct except the 500.
