Ryane
Hey everyone, first time Gibson owner here as I purchased this LPJ 120th anniversary edition the other day 2nd hand. Hoping I got a decent deal on it ($300). I've always wanted a Les Paul but didnt want to pay the dollars associated with some of the high end models. Can anyone tell me some info regarding this model, dont understand the serial number process. From what I have learnt is that the body may be built in 2010?? this thing sounds fantastic so I'm hoping it checks out ok... cheers all!

Rabs
awesome!! thank you sir! this is a big help! cheers, Ryan No worries.. Enjoy it :) They are really great guitars for their price.. And they are made in the same place by the same people who make the Standards and all the other USA models. They just arnt as blingy as a Standard level guitar (thin finish, no MOP headstock inlay and no binding) but they rock just as hard
old guy
in 2014, Gibson started putting the 1st two digits of the serial as the year, and the rest of the number is the production number.
