Jinder
Hi all, Bit of an odd situation, but I’ve been booked to play at a wedding in Denver next June, am being flown out and accommodated and paid in the form of...a guitar of my choice! Obviously there will be a budget that has to be allowed for, but the gig involves a lot of travelling and work, and I know the person who has booked me takes the work seriously and knows that I play pro level instruments. Can any of you fine folks recommend a Gibson dealer or other pro end guitar store in the Denver area?
Mr. Paul
Wildwood Guitars in Louisville, between Denver and Boulder. Just to give you an idea, they stock 30+ J200 models and always have a good selection of limited run Gibsons. You have to know what you want to play as 99% of their stock is not on display. www.wildwoodguitars.com Martins, Taylors and Froggies too. Victor Guitars on South Broadway always has an interesting selection of used acoustics. Ditto for Old Town Pickin' Parlor in Arvada.
mking
Go to Wildwood. You won't need to go anywhere else. 😀
Jukie
Another vote for Wildwood. Customer service is top notch. If you're looking for a Gibson in the Denver area, there's no reason to go anywhere else.
