  1. Dave, thanks so of the current 2020-2023 reissue models the only one with a true V neck and 2 3/8 string spacing is the Jumbo? Still waiting on the 36 J-35, but i get the feeling it is a smaller string spacing. Best;
  2. Sorry, to ask here as I like these guitars also, WITH a 1.77 wide nut what is the string spacing at the bridge? Thanks; 1934jumbo
  3. Good day, I wanted to ask if any one knows the, string spacing at the bridge? This is the 2020-2023 historic model 1936 J-35. I have a 2013 1/100 1934 Jumbo, which I love with the 2 3/8 string spacing. Thanks; 1934jumbo
  4. Well, put I listened over coffee several more times, and we all seem to agree the haunting sound of the Jumbo is hard step away from. it is drawing me to it! Thanks, again! 1934jumbo
  5. I think a 2013 version 1/100 is a hold out, they are nice, I played a new one see what happens! 1934jumbo
  6. Tom, I enjoyed your videos very nice, definitely gives a good perspective.
  7. I am drawn to the 1934 Gibson Jumbo more as time goes on because, mainly it seems like the underdog?? With its two year beginning, and all the reissues through the years. Yes I will get one if for no other reason than stated, and I will play very old school barroom bluegrass, cause thats what I love best! 1934jumbo
  8. Thanks, Tom very nice guitar. It seems the Gibson version of the Jumbo is not that popular, and a lot seem to go to the former, employee boutique brands; Kopp, Walker, Fairbanks etc. But cost takes it into another realm.
  9. Hello, I wanted to ask a crystal ball question, for those on the forum in the know all. Do we think there will be a 2024 Original Jumbo model to buy as new it would be 4 years straight they have made them? Thanks; 1934jumbo
