  1. Early 2000’s Epiphone Masterbilt were fine guitars. New crop is very different.
  2. If you gave this J-45 a male name, he can have his nibs showing in any public venue.
  3. I’m the previous owner of this guitar. But can anyone truly own this particular ethereal beauty?
  4. No, I was referring to your post, I have no experience with CDN dollars and especially Maple Syrup/Poutine tax. Dave’s is 3750US apparently. I’m in America btw.
  5. The one at Dave’s is used for 3750US, but in Canada it’s more due to exchange and VAT and Maple Syrup/Poutine Tax.
  6. So what’s a decent price for one of those? The list is crazy high, 5299. But not new, I’m seeing in the 4s for used.
  7. Wonderful little known strings. Like Straight Up Strings, Santa Cruz Parabolic Tension, String Joy… Unpopular opinion here, but pb, b, coated, etc., they’ll all sound good for awhile, plus they’re cheap! Top investment for me is 20$ to check out a set. So the SCPT are a no-go. For me, on one guitar, but I’m unlikely to try them on another. The others? I’m not picky. If SJ aren’t wildly outta price like Marty’s Titanium 40$ set, I’d give it a shot, but 10 bucks after spending over to see with no measureable results, is the max I’m shelling. Straight Up are 10.95, so I got 6 for less, keeping with my limit. I liked ‘em. But truthfully, D’Addarrio at 6-7 are fine too.
  8. Well, I gotta say, lefties don’t have as much choices out there.
  9. I didn’t know Quentin Tarantino played mandolin!😁
  10. Man, if someone could master something like that, and pretty sure someone will, it’ll be pretty cool to watch. I’d sure play it for 10 minutes tho, until I exhausted all I knew. Ok, 5+/- minutes.
  11. I’ve used them on a National that had mag pickups. Good strings, not expensive.
  12. Remember the adjustable bridge ubiquitous on almost everything Gibson made? This ain’t that is all.
