  1. Hi, Is Gibson Murphy Lab's Les Pauls are made by Hunduran Mahogany woods?
  2. Duncan 59 Neck and Bridge Pickups install to R9 Reissue Les Paul. It is worth it? or Direct to go ThroBak or Kloppmann PAF Humbucker Pickups? R9 Les Paul Reissue's original stock pickups are Gibson Burstbucker 1 & 2. These are too single coil pikcups sound to me.
  3. Yeah I also knew that Gibson using Dirty Fingers Pickups. that pickups are so hot I remember.
  4. Because Howlling and feedback, it is that reason for not install high output pickups? I have a R9 Les Paul(Solid body) and Gibson ES-335(Satin finish built at 2015s). I compare these guitars in same amp and same enviroment condition. Pickups of R9 are Burstbucker Type1 and 2 and ES-335 are Duncan Seth Lover that called SH-55. I feel that Solid body guitar Les Paul is more "Straight tone" and "Core power" than semi hollow body ES-335. Guess I think this different from type of body construct. It is right? I always bummer that semi hollow guitar too muddy than solid body guitar especially les paul.
  5. Hi all I have a R9 Les Paul built in 2005. This beauty has a Gibson Burstbucker Type1 and Type2 with Nickel Covered. I wonder these pickups are different with current Gibson Burstbucker Pickups? And this R9 LP's Neck and Body wood is Honduran Mahogany? and fingerboard wood is Madagascar Rosewood?
  6. Hi. Recently I got a ES-355 built in 2014s. I want to know this guitar's spec especially fingerboard and materials of finish coat. In catalog and online shop says: fingerboard : richlite. finish : non-vos finish that means normal gloss finish(?).
