  1. "Mouldy Old Dough" - Lieutenant Pidgeon.
  2. "River Deep, Mountain High" - Ike and Tina.
  3. There's no way to break this gently; "The Thrill Is Gone" - B.B. King.
  4. "Don't You Lie To Me! (I get evil)" - Tampa Red.
  5. Well that all depends; "Voulez-vous coucher avec moi ce soir?" - Lady Marmalade.
  6. "I Can't Quit You, Baby (bit I'm gonna put you down for a while)" - Nine Below Zero's version.
  7. I laughed out loud! A bit of understatement there...
  8. "Lucky Man" - Emerson, Lake and Palmer.
  9. "Say It Isn't So" - (I like) Billie Holliday's version.
  10. Just an afterthought; If you are seriously going to do this I'd advise buying a cheap-as-you-can-find throwaway copy to practice your relic-ing on first. The paint will not react in quite the same manner but at least you can try out your ideas on the hardware and attempt something on the finish. At least in this fashion you won't completely ruin your Les Paul in the short-term... BTW; Tom Murphy ages his limited run instruments largely through painstaking and time-consuming use of a craft-knife blade.
  11. Go over and have a look in the 'My Les Paul' forum. It will save you a lot of time waiting for answers here as there are literally thousands of replies there already which detail many ways to do it. Good luck. I know I wouldn't do it...
  12. I "Heard It Through the Grapevine" - Marvin Gaye.
  13. Which would inevitably lead to; "The Jack" - AC/DC...
  14. "Big Legs; Tight Skirt" - John Lee Hooker.
  15. I prefer the '60s style neck. I've played R8's and I can't get the hang of the thickness at all. I have a slightly weird left-hand technique, though...
  16. "Bell-Bottom Blues" - Derek and the Dominos.
  17. "Goodbye Pork-Pie Hat" - Joni Mitchell. (from the album "Mingus")
  18. "Something's Cooking in the Kitchen" - Dana.
  19. "A Kind of Hush" - Herman's Hermits.
  20. (To complete the cardinal compass points...) "Westering Ho!" - Andy Stewart.
