  1. My thoughts exactly. Nobody knows exactly where the wood is bought or distributed to. Unless you believe everything you read. I know my LP won't sound just like a Gibby, because it has an alder top, instead of a maple top!
  2. I realize it's not gonna sound just like a Gibby. Just be more usable. My stock electronics are not bad with my setup. It's just a future project. Cause I can't leave anything alone!

  4. I thought the 47 sounded the best clean and distorted, but I prefer to let the bass guitar handle the lows. No mods sounded more like the Metallica-Justice album with too much lows that covers up the bass in a band. I think you made the right choice. Rock on!
  5. Beautiful guitars. Just starting to save up for mine. So I have plenty of time to choose which color. Leaning towards to HB or LB.
