His autobiography "Testimony" was a great read, also "Once Were Brothers" a fine 2019 film.
Very well written article here

I've been a fan since I was a boy in the 60s. Also good to note that none of the haters on this board have spewed needless bile...yet.

Low Country Boy asked: Did Jorma include The Water Song on the set list ? One of my all time favorites.
Anyone know what guitar he's using?
Custom J35 with Bella Voce fretboard bling.

Good to hear someone own a Dylan song without trying to channel him- to my ears your vocal performance is somewhat reminiscent of Leon Russell's Carney album, one of my faves.

I experience pain in the same two joints. I sold my Martin HJ-38 due to the mod-v neck causing pain, and I really liked that guitar. My two Waterloo models also were rehomed for the same reason. Fortunately my 57 CW and 48 LG-2 have comfortable necks, but still some pain. A few months ago I lowered the tuning on my guitars a half step to E flat. They sounded strange the first day, then normal the next day. Helped the hand and the guitars seem more resonant. Might be worth a try, and a capo is the solution for harmonica or group playing.
I don’t have any advice concerning altering your guitar neck. Best wishes on finding the solution.
p.s. I took some of the Martin sale money and bought a Stratocaster which I can play for longer periods with very little pain.

It's just blue.
It's certainly not ugly.
Think how much better it would sound without the cutaway.

"STILL ON THE RUN: THE JEFF BECK STORY" is a 2018 documentary about the man which I found very enjoyable and recommend to anyone interested.

The motion picture “ O Brother where art thou?” was set in the 1930s, and they were talking about old timey music- so perhaps it is defined by generational nostalgia.

I was going to retire but went for a retread instead (rimshot) I’m only 64 but I read at a 65 year old level, so I got that going for me.

The truly refreshing aspect of the frat house photo is the absence of zombies staring into their glowing thumb-machine screens.

seems it has had some revisions over the years aka “the folk process”- here’s a version by Slim Whitman -

I found the tone of the LG-1 to be very appealing in this clip. Your posts are always interesting and informative.

Miranda Lambert Bluebird

I like the blue guitar and Miranda Lambert as well - anyone who titles her album "Crazy Ex-girlfriend" deserves a listen. The first two Pistol Annie's releases are very good- in my ears, at least. One member, Angeleena Presley, put out a great release in 2014 "American Middle Class".
I don't get all the bile and venom spewed against someone, I suppose it is queen jealousy desiring the same talent and success, rather than long hours spent before a lonely keyboard.
'Nuff said, I've used up too many words - please excuse as I go gain some inspiration from Miranda.
