3 Body Problem on the NutFlix.
I saw this. It was ok. Almost a modern approach to War of the Worlds. Not usually my thing but it was very well thought out.
Like CaliforniaMan's OP, I loved Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. I've never seen better TV. I saw it all a while back though.
Now I'm watching Dexter (up to 3rd ep) and Ripley (also 3rd ep). Ripley is in black & white and the scenes are beautiful.
I have watched nearly every series of Car S.O.S. Its a late night watch for me. I wish there was more Taskmaster available. We've seen all 6 series on NFlix, but there's loads more been made.

Chuckle, no worries… and I kinda forget that London for you is like a trip to Lake Superior for us 😁 I was in England in 1976 (yes, I spent the bicenntennial July 4th with the Redcoats, lol.) I had a wonderful time. My family has deep roots in Britain. My mom’s side came from the Potteries. My g-g uncle was a china painter, and his dad built a pub called the Golden Crown in Henley? It’s still a thing off and on, from what I can tell. At one point a few years back it was advertised for lease “come to england and run a real life pub!” I paused for just a second… 😄
I turned down a job as a bar cellarman once I realised everything involved (I was still very young). I have family and friends that have run pubs as landlords. Its demanding work! Especially when the patrons get unruly.
I did a quick search for Golden Crown in Henley, but didn't find anything young enough to qualify
Oddly enough I went to the USA in 1976 and returned in 1977. I recall the lamp posts were painted with the Stars & Stripes in Baltimore for the Bicentennial celebrations. Those uppity colonists eh? 🇺🇸

I have altered a number of cases to make them a better fit and safe for purpose. Nothing fancy, just covered foam inserts and some remedial neck support.
This Hiscox case was too big for the LP DC Std. You can see the guitar would slide to and fro in it, Its since been altered.

Whoops! I meant to quote Yorkie! Sorry PrairieDog.
Anyway Cherry's family bought us another 'London Experience' again this year. Normally I avoid London. That said, everyone we met there put themselves out to be really friendly and helpful.

Read David McCollough's, 1776. It covers the beginning of the Revolutionary war and features George Washington and what he faced going up against what was at that time the world's greatest military force.
I'll give it a look see. Thanks.
I'm also looking for info on the 1812 war.

Cool! Re pics: use a site like imgur to upload the pics then paste the “direct link” (if you are using imgur) in a post here. The images should pop up. Love to see the pics of the Garage and the guitar!

The American Revolutionary War - Stephen Conway
I'm sure I knew far less about it than my American friends but this was a revelation to me. Really surprising stuff in there.
I will delve into more US history soon.

It needs a title.
'When Gibson & Schecter went head to head'.
'Gibson assumes the male role'

I liked his first solo album. Some of About Face was okay (saw him that tour), Island was not bad. Rattle I didn’t jive with, but he’s F-ing David Gilmour with. ‘U”. We scum bucket Americans wouldn’t spell it like that.
I know, I appreciate that you'd keep the R too.

Well I'm glad that he stuck his head out of the cave and fessed up.
I gigged digital for 20 years and the only complaint I ever got was 'You're not loud enough!'

I do think he has a phone on him so will possibly be watching this thread. And as I said to John, he still has to play my 336s yet so we will meet when he is back 🙂 Heres wishing you all the best and the quickest possible recovery 🤘
John, you have still to play my Esprit & DC Standard too. I'll keep them warm for you.
Not only you have a proper diagnosis now; but also a plan to fix you up. That's progress man!

I agree. Two colours is not enough at that price point. The studio models often were just 2 finish options. This is more than that.
The LP DC Specials (with P90s) were the first Gibsons I ever played.
I still want a P90 guitar too.
