  1. I was in a hotel bar in Savannah last night, and there were some folks from the Dept of Fisheries and Wildlife there, in town for some training. I brought up the recent raid on Gibson and regarding the drawn weapons, they defended their agent's actions on the premise that they have had raids that have gone wrong in the past.
  2. I have a 97 Gem Series Studio in Sapphire Blue. I need to get a photo up of it, she's gorgeous.
  3. Looks just like mine buddy. Nice photo!
  4. I just updated my 2000 Heritage 150 with a Nashville tune-o-matic bridge and stop-tail. Made a HUGE difference in the sustain. Here are the pics! http://s1191.photobucket.com/albums/z462/skinslammer/
  5. I plan to post photos of my Trad after the Christmas party tonite. I have been drooling over all the gorgeous Trad's on this thread!
  6. Is this going to be a trend with their fretboards now? No more traditional materials?
  7. My lovely fiance bought me my very first 2008 SG Standard in Heritage Cherry as a Valentines present, even though I already own 2 Les Pauls. Boy, was I surprised! This guitar exceeded all of my expectations. I have been a Stratocaster guy for year, owning 6 of them. I was attracted to the SG because of its sexy looks, the 490 and 498T pups, and the sheer playability of this guitar! I told her I was in love with it after only 10 minutes of playing. Everything they say about the neck is true. I still play my Strats of course, but this one is pretty special and I use it all the time running scales and for studio practice. Question: the strap button is on the backside of the neck like an acoustic. Does the SG have a tendency to tilt forward when strapped on because of that? 97 Gemstone Studio in Sapphire Blue-P-90 pups 01 Standard Goldtop
