Hbird Standard through Acoustic Amp

Doesnt sound too bad, have not come across this amp.

 

You gotta watch out with the Bird plugged in as all that nectar can make the tone a bit muddy if you dont watch out. Ive had to increase my treble setting by about 30% because of this to get the right balance.

I've never used an acoustic amp, but it sounds OK to me. The effects, though? I can see that reverb has a role in an acoustic amp set-up, and delay might appeal to John Martyn fans (though here it sounded like the Edge on a Strat), but I don't understand why somebody would want tremolo or the Leslie simulator on it. By the time he kicked the tremolo on, he might as well have been playing through a Fender Twin (or a Traynor valve amp). Sure some acoustic quality remained, but I reckon it would through a Twin as well, and tremolo really doesn't let that quality shine in any case. And the rotary made the Bird sound like a Tele.
