Shilo
Well I am just all over the place buying new guitars and stuff. I currently have a Seagull 11 acoustic, (excuse my signature a got it wrong(unless if fixed it by now)) But a good friend of mine has a gibson L5. I play it alot and he doesn't and might consider selling? Anyway, just want to hear some of your opinions on the guitar. I love it, and want a good price estimate. No idea what to pay for it. j45nick
You have to start by telling us the year and condition of the guitar, and post a couple of pictures. There are several L-5 experts here, including L-5 Larry, who will probably respond when he next checks in. Archtops are a breed apart, and not necessarily for everyone or for all styles of music. Generally speaking, the L-5 is just about the top of the line when it comes to Gibson archtops.
L5Larry
You have to start by telling us the year and condition of the guitar, and post a couple of pictures. Yes, some additional info is required here, especially photos.
merseybeat1963
Is it the reissue 1934 non electric short scale one? Early last year saw one sell for $3200..then around Christmas another about $3800. How's it sound compared to a flat top,Ive never played that one but like it?
