JuanCarlosVejar Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 Most of you know I'm a lover of country music ... but Tim Buckley(Jeff too) is in a class of his own and I have loved everything I have heard from him (them) . IMHO it's going to be very hard for anyone to come close to his beautiful vocals Venice Beach : Honey man shows Tim's electric side.His voice seems to shine even more on this one . the pedal steel sounds brutal : Jeff & Tim are responsible for Guild acoustics being my second favorite (I don't have one yet) but now that Ren is over with them I will certainly pick something up ! I believe Happy/ Sad, Blue Afternoon, Starsailor, Lorca and the many live recordings to be of a world of their own.
