Les Paul case

Is there any way to fix a broken handle on an old Gibson case? I have a case that came with a guitar that I bought a 1982. The handle is plastic. Yesterday it broke off. Is there an easy way to get this fixed or do I have to replace the whole case? The metal brackets are still intact, only the handle broke.

Really... A guitar case is nothing but an odd shaped brief case. Any luggage repair shop (and most shoe repair places) will be able to fix you up for $30 or less!

if the metal loops on the case are still ok, I've seen the above mentioned aftermarket parts places have them that look like original, but have a little loop and buckle to attach.......looks like it would be an easy repair.

The loops are in fine shape. I think I will probably go the route you suggest.
