whattheschnell
My grandparents recently passed away and I had always known my grandma played guitar. I found a Gibson guitar hidden in the back of her closet but I was unable to find out which model it is. Using http://www.provide.net/~cfh/ that website, I was able to figure out that it is from 1936. The FON on the neck block is 470 B-17 (with the 17 in red pencil and the rest in black ink) It has a sunburst finish on the front, and its not a jumbo (as far as I know) so I was wondering if anyone could help me identify its model and an approximate value. Edit: It looks almost exactly like this which is a 1936 L-00 and similar similar (less worn) case
MReynolds
Your best bet for ID and value would be to contact Gruhn Guitars at http://www.gruhn.com/
