pauly
I have a question: Is a factory SG case and a LP case the same? Sorta looks like they could be. I want to buy a case for one of my LP's that I bought that came without a hardshell case. I found one via CL and the guy who is selling it say's it came with a new SG he purchased 3-4 years ago..he sold the SG w/o the case apparently. He is about 75 miles away and I hate to drive there to just see if it fits or not.
L5Larry
I have a question: Is a factory SG case and a LP case the same? No.... According to TKL model numbers they are different. http://www.tkl.com/?siteid=products&pr=str&pr2=guitar
capmaster
Les Paul and SG cases are definitely rather different and not interchangeable. Third party cases which are told to apply for both models are not recommendable in my opinion. However, there are some models which allow for mutual use of cases, in particular many Gibson ES models of same size and shape, or Fender Telecasters and Stratocasters.
